Pierogi Fever


Have you ever eaten pierogi? Do you even know what pierogi is? For those of you who are confused right now, pierogi are:

Pierogi are traditional Central/Eastern European, particularly Polish, dumplings made from unleavened dough, filled with savory or sweet ingredients, and boiled before being pan-fried in butter. Commonly filled with potato and cheese, sauerkraut, meat, or fruits, they are typically shaped like semicircles and served with toppings like sautéed onions, bacon, or sour cream.

The most important thing to know is that they are pretty darn tasty! I recommend trying one sometime. Just some food for thought.
