Very Local: Free TV To Watch Featuring Kinga Philipps and Boston Rob

There are many things I enjoy in this world, and free things are one of them! And in today's world, it's not very often you get free TV to watch. With my Netflix, Paramount Plus, Peacock, Prime and others subscriptions, I pay just as much as if I had cable. But, then what do I discover on my TV, a free app. It's the Very Local app. What is it you ask? Very Local is a free streaming app designed to connect users with local news, weather, and exclusive original series centered on specific U.S. cities. Owned by Hearst Television, it offers 24/7 access to live, trusted local news and on-demand content, available on smartphones, tablets, and streaming devices like Roku, Amazon Fire TV, and Apple TV. Preston Goes: A Great Watch

Preston Goes is a YouTube channel that I have recently started watching. The description of the channel says: "wannabe engineer, wannabe singer, pro fun haver". In the videos I have watched so far, I can see all these things being true. The things I enjoy about these videos the most are the creativity, the fact that he seems like he is enjoying himself, and of course his little songs that he makes and throws into the videos. For example, in the video, "I Shouldn’t Have Driven in the Bus Destruction Derby", he drives a wide variety of cars, including a bus at the end, in a car derby race. In the next video he creates and tries to fly a plane in the World's largest Flite Fest. In this video he travels to Alaska to launch his own car off a cliff on the 4th of July. Let me start off by saying, I have lived my whole life in Iowa. And I feel like Iowa Winters are very cold and treacherous. The coldest temperature ever recorded in Iowa (only 2 separate times) is -47°F, which to me is pretty darn cold. But let's be honest, the average temperature for Iowa in Winter is 22.6°F. Raining frogs is a rare but documented meteorological phenomenon where small frogs or toads fall from the sky during storms, often reported throughout history. Scientists believe tornadic waterspouts over lakes or oceans suck up small aquatic animals and deposit them miles away when the storm loses energy. The definition of the word BRAVE : ready to face and endure danger or pain; showing courage. Do you have to be brave to be a parent in today’s world? YES. It seems like as a parent there are so many decisions we make that require us to show courage. So my message to all my fellow parents out there is to be BRAVE . Just think about some of the choices we have to make on behalf of another little human being. 2 big ones that come to mind our health and education choices. 1.
