My high school years were defined by flannel shirts, dial-up internet, and the unmistakable scent of photo processing chemicals. In the mid 1990s, before smartphones and digital cameras took over the world, the local Walgreens was the community hub. For me, it was my first real job, earning a grand total of $4.75 an hour!
