With the Winter Olympics going on right now, I wanted to go back and look at the 2024 Summer Olympics. Eight former Iowa State Cyclones competed in the 2024 Paris Olympics, with a heavy representation in basketball. Tyrese Haliburton headlined the group, winning a Gold Medal with Team USA. Other participants included Bridget Carleton (Canada), George Conditt IV (Puerto Rico), Nick Weiler-Babb (Germany), Marial Shayok (South Sudan), Melvin Ejim (Canada), Lauren Mansfield (3x3 Australia), and Edwin Kurgat (Kenya).
