Peanut Butter Energy Balls: Tasty And Oh So Easy To Make

Peanut Butter Energy Balls are one of my favorite things to make.  Why? Because they are easy, don't take long and taste oh so good!  They are a great snack that you can just pop in your mouth before you go and do something.  Plus it gives you that pep in your step you need.  So how do you make them?  Well, the great news is you only need 4 ingredients.  I have tried maple syrup instead of honey before, and honey is definitely the way to go.  So here is the recipe.  Make them today and enjoy!

What You Need:

  • 2 cups rolled oats
  • 1 cup peanut butter
  • ½ cup semisweet chocolate chips
  • ¼ cup honey, or more as needed
Directions:

  • Beat oats, peanut butter, chocolate chips, and honey in a bowl, until well combined, adding more honey if mixture is not holding together well.
  • Scoop mixture with a small cookie scoop and form into 24 balls; place on a cookie sheet. Refrigerate until firm, 30 minutes.
Have fun with the recipe by adding different ingredients that you like, such as M&M's, dried cranberries, flax seeds, hemp powder, protein powder, chia seeds or almond butter.
