Baby Driver is about a young getaway driver, nicknamed "Baby," (played by Ansel Elgort) who uses music to be the best in the business. Coerced into a life of crime by a kingpin named Doc (Kevin Spacey) to pay off a debt, Baby falls for a waitress named Debora and tries to leave his criminal life behind. His plans are jeopardized by Doc forcing him to do one last job, which goes disastrously wrong and puts his life and relationship with Debora in mortal danger.
The movie also has appearances by Jamie Foxx and Eiza González (who was in The Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare & Fountain Of Youth which I reviewed) which always makes a movie a bit more interesting to see familiar faces. Overall it was a good movie. The driving scenes are great, and they use good music to go with them. My son who is 14 enjoyed it and so did I. We say, give it a watch!
Out of 10 Popcorn Kernels, I give it a 7.
