I remember when my kids first started getting to that age where they started going off with friends to the mall and other places without me or other adults. I would have to give them cash for spending money, but I never had cash on me. So it was always a quick trip to the ATM to get cash out. At first this wasn't a big issue, but after awhile it got old. If my son is out and all of a sudden needs $15 for some food, I can send it to him right away. My daughter needs gas in her car, no problem, send her $25 for gas and she is good to go.
