As of March 2026, Elon Musk, is the world's richest person. The SpaceX and Tesla CEO has continued to grow his wealth over the years and now tops everyone. In fact, Musk has become the first person in history to surpass the $800 billion mark and is considered closer to becoming a trillionaire than the second wealthiest person on the planet. So, he's not doing too bad.
This had me thinking. Musk as of late, has been talking about paying TSA agents out of his own pocket because of the Government shutdown. Let's take that thought one step further. Let's say Mr. Musk decided to become the most generous person to the people of the United States. In that case he would sell off everything he has, and have the 852 billion he is valued at. He could give out the following money to each person of the United States.
If giving out money to every person in the States, approximately 348 million people, each person would get $2,448.28.
If giving out money to every person in the States over the age of 18, approximately 267 million adults, each person would get $3,191.01.
So, would giving that much money to each person in the United States be beneficial? I'm gonna say yes. Because the more money each person has, the more money they are going to spend in the economy.
So, we have Elon Musk with tons of money. What about someone else that doesn't have as much money? Let's take Mr. Beast for example. Mr. Beast is the famous Youtuber that also has shows on TV now and other products as well. His net worth is only 1 billion. I know, you got to feel bad for a guy with such a low net worth. They say he doesn't really have that much money because he is constantly spending the money on new things.
But what if Mr. Beast did a new video where he took just a fraction of that net worth, and gave a random individual, like myself, 1 million dollars. He gave the person 1 day to spend it all and if they did, they would get another million. That would be a wonderful video! Forget that $2,448.28 dollars every person gets from Elon Musk, give me the million! Can you imagine? A day to spend that kind of money. What would you buy? Could you do it in a day. I think I would try. Would you?
