One Moment In Time: What's Yours?

In the late 80's and early 90's Whitney Houston was one of the biggest stars in the world.  With over 220 million records sold worldwide, she is among the best-selling music artists in history.  She remains the only music artist in history to achieve 7 consecutive number-one singles on the Billboard Hot 100. On top of all that, she was also an actress.  In her film debut in 1992, she starred in The Bodyguard.  The soundtrack to the movie, which featured her, remains the best selling movie soundtrack of all time.

Despite all her wonderful songs and movie appearances there is one thing that sticks out to me about Whitney.  That was Houston’s legendary Olympic song, "One Moment in Time", which served as the official anthem for the 1988 Summer Olympics in Seoul, South Korea.  It became one of Houston's most iconic motivational ballads and remains the only Olympic anthem to reach the top five on the Billboard Hot 100.

To me, there will never be a better Olympic song. Watching the old video and listening to the song, just puts me in that Olympic spirit and makes me want to have my own, moment in time. Take a few minutes and listen to the song.

"I want one moment in time

When I'm more than I thought I could be

When all of my dreams are a heart beat away

And the answers are all up to me"

Go find your own moment in time.  That's your inspiration today!
