Find Me Falling: Worth the Watch

Back in July of 2024 a movie came out on Netflix called Find Me Falling.  Did I watch it or even notice it.  Surprisingly no.  Typically I like these kinds of movies and Netflix seems to bring them to my attention thru their selective choices given to my user profile.  But, somehow this one was overlooked.  Fast forward a year later and I finally saw it as an option as I was looking for something to watch.

Find Me Falling stars Harrick Connick Jr.  And to be honest the last thing I saw him in was Hope Floats way back in 1998.  Prior to that Independence Day and Copycat come to mind. So basically it had been 27 years since I had seem him in a movie.  So I guess I wasn't expecting too much from the movie but it had that romantic type theme to it, which I normally like.   So, what's it about?

Find Me Falling is a Netflix romantic comedy starring Harry Connick Jr. as a faded rock star hiding out in Cyprus who unexpectedly finds himself trying to save people from a cliffside known for suicides, all while rekindling an old romance and discovering a new purpose, blending themes of love, second chances, and finding meaning amidst darkness.

The twist I like in the movie is Connick Jr's character finds out he has a daughter with his old flame that is a singer like him.  You see him trying to figure out how to get his old love back, trying to become a dad and figuring out how to save lives.  It was a surprisingly good movie. And the actors all do a great job.

Out of 10 Popcorn Kernels, I give it a 7.
