The Copenhagen Test: A Great Watch On Peacock

The Copenhagen Test first came out on Peacock December 27th, 2025.  The first season is 8 episodes long and I just finished watching it yesterday.  To be totally honest, I really didn't think too much of it when I first started watching, but it still looked interesting enough to watch.  But as I got a couple episodes into it, I realized the show was quite good.  Let's find out what it's about.

The Copenhagen Test is a sci-fi espionage thriller about Alexander Hale (Simu Liu), a U.S. intelligence analyst whose brain is hacked, giving unknown enemies a live feed of everything he sees and hears. His agency, The Orphanage, convinces him to play along, turning his own life into a fake reality with a staged girlfriend and missions to bait the hackers, forcing him into a dangerous psychological game to find who compromised him and why. The series explores themes of surveillance, loyalty, and the blurred lines between reality and deception in a near-future world.

Simu Liu, Melissa Barrera and Sinclair Daniel all star in the series and do a great job with their performances.  Melissa Barrera I had seen in the Scream movies, but the other 2 actors I had never really watched before.  I'm interested to see how their careers go on from here.  As of right now, a second season hasn't been announced, but creators have said they are interested in doing a another season.  Let's hope for it. But for now, hop on to Peacock and watch season 1 of The Copenhagen Test today.

Out of 10 Popcorn Kernels, I give it a 7.5.
