One of the greatest college football games of all-time took place on January 1, 2007. The Boise State Broncos vs the Oklahoma Sooners in the Fiesta Bowl. Boise State was undefeated, 12-0, and at the time were part of the WAC (Western Athletic Conference). Their opponent in the game was Oklahoma, who had a record of 11-2.
It was a legendary upset where the underdog Broncos beat the heavily favored Sooners 43-42 in overtime, sealed by a famous "Statue of Liberty" trick play and a successful two-point conversion, cementing its place as one of college football's greatest games and boosting Boise State's national profile.
Take a minute and relive the game by watching the video. I appreciate at the very end, that the running back for Boise State, proposes to his girlfriend. It was definitely a game you don't see everyday.
